Moving sermon Thank you for the humbling reminder of the grace and love we Christians were shown by Christ and the call to extend that love even to those outside of the church.
Fine preaching This sermon is very interesting; great speaker, however, it does not sound like Alistair Begg. Still, it is worth a listen -- great sermon!
Great sermon I have listened to this sermon multiple times- each time there is a new nugget applicable to my life. Read our Bibles- Trust God- Careful thought-so the next thing.
Thank you Lord for your providential care in my life!
Great! More tips... 1. The one (and probably only) thing of value in the diease model is that it recognizes alcohol really is a different substance in the body of an alcoholic. The impairment happens to all, but the euphoria and sense of connection to the divine simply does not happen to non-alcoholics. The biochemistry has even been worked out. And just generally, addicts are different and hardwired such that total abstinence from all mood altering drugs is needed, even when they’re spiritually solid. But understanding that fact should be the end of seeing an illness or health problem.
2. One way addicts “steal” is to get eight different church members to give them the money to pay-off the same electric bill, etc.
3. Some of them do not like or identify with the chaos and dishonesty, and the drug culture, etc. Many were only driven to it by the substance and hate that fact. It’s easy to think of them as “that type of person”. They may be just like you and me otherwise. Professional people, etc. Even religious. The urgency and need drive some of them to places and behaviors they could never have imagined theyd ever see.
Great Sermon! IWhat I love most about your teachings is that you also give me the history of the time that you’re preaching about. It has made the old testament so meaningful! Thank You!
Great Sermon! Thank you for redirecting me to Jesus, It has just gone 7am and finished listening to above time well spent, thank you for your preaching
Great Sermon! Thank you for this word -im sure many Christian's grapple with this issue of never being restored after falling. I will listen to more of your sermons this was very helpful.
This doesn’t sound like Alistair This is a good message, but it doesn’t sound like Alistair Begg! There are several here that don’t seem to be him. I could be wrong, they are good, but you you should correctly attribute a number of these sermons.
Great Sermon! This was an AMAZING sermon. I’m 14 and I go to an OPC in MI. We are doing a bible study of Colossians for youth group and my leader sends out sermons every week. This is one from this week. I LOVE his preaching and his accent is pretty cool too.
Keep this at the forefront of your mind A great reminder that you are in an ongoing spiritual battle with the world. Rely on Christ and not in your own works.
Great Sermon! I'm currently teaching from the book "Respectable Sins" by Jerry Bridges and the chapter on self control. This wonderful sermon aided me greatly in presenting the lesson the Holy Spirit wanted presented. Thanks.
Great Sermon! What a wonderful, encouraging serrmon. It has helped me to see better how to serve Christ in my marriage. I will listen to it frequently to help me to remember God's perfect economy in the family.
