Brilliant Currently in a personal study of covenant theology and dispensationalism (I was raised dispensationalist). This has been a great help, God bless you man of God!
Great Sermon! Through exegesis, clear application, draws me to the Lord. Rev. Phillips is not afraid to address sin boldly but always brings one back to the gospel.
Great Sermon! Visited this church while in Greenville. Appreciate truths presented. Think same Presbyterian church across the street from hotel - downtown. Parking lot kitty corner from church. Huge organ pipes inside. Right?
Extravagant, Treacherous, Obscure & Impulsive! We see at least four different types of disciples in Mark 14. Dr. Davis brings these light in less than 40 minutes, pointing us in the end to Jesus. We are redeemed from "Satan's landfill" and are called to offer what we have for His glory!
Worth the time, "bigly" 😆!
Great Sermon! This message is very, very, very good. I listened to this a few years back, downloaded it, & have listened to it several times through the years. It's based on Ephesians 4. The mindset/heart of the lost contrasted to the mindset/heart of the Lord's own.
Great Series Hi,
I am a youth group leader at my church. I'll be doing an introductory series on covenant theology. I was just wondering if you could somehow email me the hand out which you keep referring to throughout the talks. I have found the pdfs of the powerpoints already. Just wondering if you could email me the handout.
God bless you and all your work.
Soli Deo Gloria!
Joel
Riches Another treasure box opened for us in this wonderful series on Psalms. This message on Psalm 91 brings "strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow" as we continue on our journey home under the shelter of the Most High.
Great Sermon! Just listened to your sermon preached last evening at Second Presbyterian in defense of justification through faith alone in the finished work of Our Lord Jesus on the cross. Vatican 2 and the many changes in the rules and laws that I had tried to keep in order to please God caused me (by the blessing of the Holy Spirit) to read the NT cover to cover. God set me free and gave me full assurance that I am saved by grace and grace alone. Indeed, faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word of God. There is nothing comparable to enjoying reconciliation with our Holy God. I am so thankful for the Scriptures. We worship with your congregation weekly and are very blessed to worship with you in song and prayer and listen to sound preaching week after week. With prayers and love in Christ Jesus, Elizabeth Chaney
Blessings upon you and your house!!! This was the 1swasermon I had 1st listened to almost a year ago.All of your sermons have as much power as 1st they were preached and will remain as such,to the Glory of God.Proving He and His word stand, forever.Thank God for bringing you to Christ Covenant. We are deeply blessed for Christ to shine upon us through His word being most highy exalted through. My prayers are always with you and your family as well as His bride.Thank you Dr.Neil for the care for your flock.
Great Sermon! Thanks Brother Phillips for this helpful and encouraging insight on the powerful "I am"-speaking of our LORD Jesus Christ.
Your point of the divine decree and of man's opportunity was very important for the exegesis of this text.
All blessings in Christ to you!
