HE is GREAT from everlasting, and HE is please to quicken and convert that we may receive, by faith, the good news of the Gospel that His Father has chosen to rescue and save us before we come forth from our mother's womb. Whosoever knows this agrees and confesses that it is not by human invention, or study; nor is it contagious but because GOD has purposed from the beginning to save a people, and we have the joy of out salvation when HE lets's us in on it. That's the Gospel of my salvation. We must be predestinated, from the beginning, to life by the Spirit and belief in Gospel. If I believe then, He made me believe in His Son. And, if I believe in His Son then, He must have revealed Him to me in the Gospel through the eyes of faith given to me in the new birth. Help us Lord to trust You throughout this journey in the valley of death until the end! Jews were placing their trust in a resurrected natural or physical kingdom of David. Thomas had the grave clothes of the religion he was born into, as we all do. But, our Lord was gracious as well as strengthen Thomas, as He did the (2) on the road at Emmaus, Peter, as well as the rest; and as He does for us today every time we hear the Gospel. (read: J14:26, J15:26, J16:7, J16:13, J7:20-21 + J20:29).
