Clear exposer of a counterfeit doctrine I'm ashamed to admit that I was greatly influenced by many Calvinist preachers on this platform, believing that it was scriptural. It was not until I started attending a Calvinist church that I began to see that it is actually what Paul describes as another gospel.
As the cold clammy tendrils of Calvinism advanced towards my heart, I continued to read my AV Bible and began to see that the more covert aspects of their beliefs were absolutely contradicted. We are not robots, we can and must make a choice, Jesus invites and doesn't force.
I then read about Calvin - who was revered like a pope at the church I attended - and am still astonished when I hear otherwise sound preachers quoting him as if he was a godly man.
I studied Scripture, listened to their arguments and became convinced that the infant sprinkling (practised by the church I attended) is not baptism any more than the Catholic mass is the Lord's supper - but that is a small matter compared with a corrupted gospel which leaves people hoping that they are elect and waiting, waiting, waiting for God to save them - and their loved ones.
Thankyou for this valuable rebuttal of the insidious doctrines of Calvin. I wish I'd heard it years ago.
Confusing Dear brother, What you are preaching is not predestination, but pre-knowing. For predestination to have any meaning at all it must mean that God in His Sovereignty PRE-DESTINES a person to a certain destiny, that is, salvation. Your definition makes God subservient to human will.
Who's misreading? Always amazed how those who deny God's sovereignty and election will be the ones who do the misreading of verses. It couldn't be anymore clear, the verses you read aloud prove God's election, predestination, choosing, yet you purposely emphasize the words you want to try and disprove it. You can't read anything else into this and other verses. God elects. Dead people cannot respond to the Gospel until GOD makes them alive and willing to hear. All men are totally depraved and unable to "accept" Jesus.
Great Sermon! I struggle too, I think because I've fallen into major doubt too many times. I've back slid as they say, too many times, and my life is useless. I will be the one in the back of the crowd hanging on for dear life. I grew up in a church that didnt teach the trinity and its very difficult to understand it. I was taught similar to jw. This trinity thing has me so confused.
Great Sermon! The rise and fall of great nations average 200 years follow these stages:
1. Bondage
2. Spiritual faith
3. Great courage
4. Liberty
5. Abundance
6. Selfishness
7. Complacency
8. Apathy
9. Dependency
10. Bondage

The Great 'How To' No need for self-help materials. This message contains the wisdom that will help today and for eternity. I am glad that I listened to all of it. Galatians 6
Gets to the core of the heart Changes the attitude from the inside with the few verses in Galatians 6:1-5 as a base. I will never see these verses the same again.
From doubt to confidence Galatians 5:19-26 now makes perfect sense. This passage is so clearly explained in light of other scripture, that it brings about peace of mind instead of confusion.
Hebrews 10:19-28 explained Put in context with words explained, this passage makes much better sense. What a warning to heed! Motivating for those of us who think we are a lost cause.
Great Sermon! This is a very helpful examination of how prophecy has been important in studying the Holy Scriptures and how we can depend on future prophecy in coming history before the Rapture and into the Book of Revelation.
Strong Sermon! This is an excellent and detailed look at the meaning of hell as seen through the various descriptions in the Holy Bible. Hearing this message and still denying the existence of hell is beyond me. Once you die, it's too late to try to see if hell is valid.
WOW! This message series needs to be preached in every church!
You are an awesome speaker (praise be to God) with a deep desire to tell others the truth.
Thank you so much.
