Amazing sermon on a less known chapter! Wow, what a great sermon! Someone asked me about this passage and since I haven't read it in a while and never really thought about what it meant, I just searched for the chapter. Didn't expect such a powerful message. Thank you very much Sir! God bless you! 😇🙏
Great Sermon! David made this scripture relevant for today. We, the people of God, were made to be different. It is something to keep before us in a culture that is so rebelling against God at an accelerated rate.
Great Sermon! Thank you Pastor Teis. This is a refreshing sermon about one of the greatest times of the year. I'm afraid even Christians are getting so wrapped up in the supposed pagan background of this holiday that they completely miss the obvious opportunity for evangelism during this time of year. I, too, was concerned about the Jeremiah 10 verse and didn't put a tree up for a couple years so I would not dishonor God. I'm grateful for pastors like yourself who truthfully proclaim the word of God. God Bless!!
Great Sermon! How do I get a prayer book?
I work nights at a casino so I get off between 2am- 5am do u think it's better to pray when I wake up or get off? It might be a dumb question I just want an organization prayer life.
Call the Sabbath a delight I found this sermon helpful for providing additional material for a sunday school lesson. I was somehat disappointed by the ending though, especially the shallow rendering of the word 'rest'. Does this mean I should indulge in worldy pursuits such as going to the theatre as Pastor Teis encourages believers to do? Surely part of 'calling the sabbath a delight' includes rejoicing in reverent praise and worship, fellowship with other christians and doing good to the hearts and souls of others, such as outreach to the lost? We seem to have lost this concept in recent generations and it is no surprise if doing nothing is all the people of God are encouraged to do on the 'Sabbath day'. To rest is surely to set aside mere earthly pursuits of the week and turn our minds and thoughts to eternal things?
Gibbs Delivers! I just love the part of this sermon when he is talking to the other preacher about reading the Bible in a year. This whole sermon is worth listening to a couple of times.
