prophecy concerning the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ has been destroyed in many modern versions. Abraham told to offer- Jn 1:29 tells of the true Lambs manifestation proclaimed.
The answer is found in Hebrews 11:17-19 which reads, “By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.” (KJV)
In the 15th & 17th chapters of Genesis promises were made by the LORD regarding Isaac; in the 22nd chapter of Genesis Abraham, knowing what God had promised, prepared to offer up Isaac. In reply to Isaac's question about where was the lamb for the offering, Abraham had stated, “My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for the burnt offering.” And that's exactly what happened! A ram caught in the thicket became the offering in the place of Isaac!
