None of us can afford to take the Lord Jesus Christ for granted & just ignore His commandments.Firstly,to love the Lord God with all of our being, & secondly, to love one another as He first loved us. He is all seeing & all knowing & will not be mocked.

“ Great Sermon! ” It is good for a Christian to ponder, is it well with my soul? But often I wonder if I am the only one that wonders is everything well with my church? We're confessional, we aim at the right goals in worship, and yet I have wondered are we not affected by routine and tradition, and more so the cares of this life? Sometimes when one wants to express this concern, we worry about being looked at as censorious or our reflections are too much affected by our melancholy temperament. Besides, I have so much work to do with my own heart to express concerns about my church. And yet only part way into this series of sermons I knew that Pastor Mcdearmon was about to put his finger on the pulse of what I feel and fear. It makes even more impression on me because I respect the communicator of this sermon as well. I woke up thinking about it. Is it as it should be with my soul? With my church?
