Foreign and Strange — For Some
What's life to one, is strange and foreign to another.
Let's separate the cream... there's much to be gleaned from reading and studying the Older Testament but one of the most precious things you will learn... is the God of the Bible and the ones the average "Joe Flow" talks about on the streets, in homes or churches, behind pulpits or on the internet, are most often completely different than one another.
If you want to know — who He is, what He said, the ways He works, who He uses, does He save, will He kill, how does He destroy or deliver, and why He does some of the things He does — do yourself a favor and get in His word. Let Him unveil who He is... and quit settling on the cheap ideas the world keeps peddling your way.
If you can tell me what someone said about Him but not what He has said about Himself... you have fallen prey to the peddler of the age and you're resting your entire life upon a swindler's word and not God. Don't settle for cheap memes, shallow ideas, and flawed concepts of Him... get in His book and stay in it! He will amaze you beyond anything you've ever heard or read. And find a group of people in love with Jesus, His entire word, His people, being filled and led by His Spirit…
