I. People of Hope – (15,16) A. They were an instrument of God's power to hurting people B. They had a choice as to what type of instrument they would be.
II. People of God – (17-18) A. They were recognized for who they were – (17) B. Their outcome was not that of pomp & circumstance – (18)
III. People of the Gospel – (19-21) A. These Christians were known for their preaching – (20) B. These Christians were known for their obedience
IV. People of Answers – (21-34) A. Tell the story – 21-28 – Humorous if it were not so serious. B. Peter takes the lead and preaches the gospel – 29-32 C. They were witnesses to these things & had answers –32
V. People of Gumption (Courage, guts) – 40-42 A. They received their punishment – (40) B. They responded with praise – (41) C. They repeatedly proclaimed – (42)
Closing Comments: 1. Are you Peculiar Person? 2. What do people see when they look at us?
