SERMON INFO
True Christians will almost always be lonely in this world. If you love God and love His Word, you are in an extreme minority. There are many Christians all over this world who have to travel miles and miles just to get to a true Bible honoring church. They are like Christians of old -- aliens, scattered throughout the world. What is comforting to the Christian, however, is to realize that Christ Himself experienced profound loneliness as a man and knows exactly how to sympathize with His people.

“ Thank you! ”
I have been feeling lonely lately and found this sermon. It helped so much. I went through a long health journey (over now) that loosened my grip on this world and deepened my faith, and I find people don’t seem to want to be friends with me as much, even though I think I am kind and gracious and I think I act the same. I have been wondering what turns them off from wanting to be closer friends with me! I was always popular as a teenager. This made me feel much better.

“ Excellent! ”
If you have suffered for righteousness sake you'll get this! If you are comfortable with casual christianity you can't appreciate it! Thank you Curtis for speaking the truth in love. This is the best message I have heard on this subject. Even now as I write, I am short of breath as I am pondering what I have just heard. I am encouraged! I am comforted!

“ Very, Very Good! ”
The sermon details give a good summation of the message, so here it is: "True Christians will almost always be lonely in this world. If you love God and love His Word, you are in an extreme minority. There are many Christians all over this world who have to travel miles and miles just to get to a true Bible honoring church. They are like Christians of old -- aliens, scattered throughout the world. What is comforting to the Christian, however, is to realize that Christ Himself experienced profound loneliness as a man and knows exactly how to sympathize with His people." Thanks, Bro. Curtis, for this sermon. I don't think I'd really given any thought as to what it was like for the Lord being around the sinfully, totally stupid creatures called us.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Fix your audio! I review audio files all the time for research.... but when I get a message where the audio is bad, the echo and bad production distract from the message and make it harder to concentrate, I generally just go on to the next speaker...

“ Great Sermon! ”
A really encouraging sermon that there are people out there in the same boat and who understand and a great reminder that the Lord understands most of all. He mentioned at the end how encouraging it is to read reports from Heartcry of all that God is doing in the world. This is also where i find encouragement. In fact, my husband and i read a missionary report every night before we pray together just to encourage ourselves and remind ourselves there is real work being done for the kingdom out there and God still has his many out there even though we don't have any where we are.

“ True. ”
Fellowship is pretty lean. As per Hebrews 3:13 we are suppose to encourage, exhort and admonish each other daily. Reality is barely weekly with Sunday worship. Looking forward to the heavenly place. When we see Him, we shall be like Him - 1 John

“ Needed more than Ever! Great Sermon! ”
Thank you for teaching on this. I love my brethren and I have learned much in the way of theology. But holiness, and sin condemned is often over looked. I grieve for my brethren. I grieve for this nation. I grieve for myself and my own failings before the Lord. God give us strength to endure and intercede for the ones who just don't get it yet. Thank you. Feeling comforted

Thank you, I came to know the Lord at 19 and was raised in the gettos of Camden NJ transformed and I am going to be 53 soon, this sermon helps so much, I thought I was the only one who felt this kind of loneliness. This sermon blessed me, thank you Jesus.

“ A Timely Message ”
This was a very timely message for me. I did not realize just how encouraging the words spoken by Pastor Knapp would be to me. I recommend that others listen and be exhorted as fellow pilgrims. Thank you Pastor Knapp for also reminding us to check our hearts concerning the 'evaluation of a church'.
