We need regular reminders that the most horrible doctrines in God's Word—the reality of an eternal Hell for those who do not believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ.
The amazing thing about Hell is how seldom we hear about it.
Jesus spoke more of Hell than Heaven—we speak more of Heaven than Hell.
Jesus warned of Hell from the start to the end of His ministry.
Jesus preached about the horrors awaiting the unsaved lost ones in public, in private, with saints and with sinners.
Jesus spoke much of it—we speak little of it.

Great lessons on the book o0f Revelation I have been listening and watching your classes on the book of Revelation. But I am listening to several of the lessons. Can I get the whole class sessions for the study on Revelation on DVD? I am wondering if it is still available? I really do appreciate your way of handling the gospel message. I have a lot to learn going through your bible teaching from the Scriptures', May God bless your ministry.

Great Sermon! This is the best sermon preached on this uncomfortable topic, Hell. Can I get this message on a CD or DVD? In Matthew 24:37, "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." (NKJV). So why are we not hearing more about this uncomfortable topic of Hell? May God bless.

Much needed Sermon! Thank you Dr. Barnett for this much needed message. How many Christians spend more time in personal growth and fellowship with other believers than in time witnessing to the perishing? Why? Because we are losing the urgency brought on by the doctrine of Hades, and by the hopelessness of Hell.

Very Powerful Sermon! Undoubtedly, the most thorough and powerful message I've heard on what Christ taught on the reality of eternal hell. I felt almost physically sick as I listened and thought of those I know who could care less for Christ, for truth, for the destination of their eternal souls. Certainly impacted me and caused me to consider looking at myself afresh and my walk. Thank you Bro. For this message for every age especially ours in this deadly post modern mind set.

much needed teaching What an incredible and truthful reminder of the awfuljudgementt of god against sin. whilst it builds ones gratitude for christs sacrifice for us on calvary.....at the same time it motivates us to keep living for him and sharing the gospel with others. please lord pour out your spirit in these last days and snatch the lost from a godless eternity.

Powerful Sermon! If anyone who hears this and still does not feel that they must repent, than I cannot begin to feel how lost they must be -- how much in power they are of satan himself -- they have totally closed off their mind to what awaits them after death. I love and accept Jesus Christ for what He did, but the agony of hell still makes me sad for all those who will perish eternally and suffer instead of accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. What a horrific choice these people make -- but not too many years ago, I was in the same position, but with the Holy Spirit working in my heart, I accepted Jesus and now have no fear of death and the afterlife.

A scary reality I can't bear it when I think of people I love and people I've met and never met that may go to such a place. I don't understand why they don't see the reality of it. Have people you know listen to this sermon and perhaps they might be plucked from the fire.

Hair Raising Sermon! I listened to this twice, it was so disturbing. About 10 minutes into the sermon, Dr. Barnett takes you to through what a human being likely experiences a few moments into hell and then what he or she will go through, in vivid detail, as the seasons pass. Frankly, I have never heard such a presentation like this -- it really forces you to think about hell as more than just a topic in the bible. The reality of hell and how tragic it will be,and why, for those who are there are presented here in the most clearest, biblically-solid fashion I've ever heard. Listen to it and you will feel small--small that God has spared you from hell and then you will consider those who do not know Christ and you will pray for them with sincerity -- that God would save them like He has saved you. And Dr. Barnett accomplishes this without yelling, pounding his first or using other rhetorical devices. He presents this awful truth just from Scripture, in a plain tone so that we see (I guess) that this subject doesn't need added emotionalism, just the plain teaching of Scripture. This isn't a popular subject, but as Dr. Barnett says, "Our thoughts of hell will never be as unmanageable as its reality." This one should be listened to/downloaded by everyone who visits this site. It is very sobering.
