The purpose of this study is to encourage Christians to re-read the Scripture and to elevate the person and work of the Saviour. While much has rightly been written about Christ, the purpose of ths first study is to learn what he said Himself about his own mission. No claims are made as to originality, rather acknowledgement goes to help others have been in preparing for this series, men such as Warfield, Vos and Young and their examination of the Scripture at various points. Here we look at 8 texts in all, 4 in this first part and 4 in the second part, going on in later studies to other aspects of Christ as revealed in the gospels.
