These beings have personalities, intellects, can speak, can reason, possess emotions, and free will. Demons influence people and can drive people crazy even to the point of suicide. The saved cannot be possessed by a demon but we can be influenced by them. They are powerful beings that love to pervert the word of God and promote false religions. But they are powerless against Jesus.
