This is a fantastic sermon by Dr. Steven Dilday! It is an amazing message that Christians, and even unbelievers, need to hear. If you want to know why God does what He does in history, in your country, in your church, in your family and in your own life, there are few sermons we've heard that give such a faithful and God honoring biblical picture of reality -- in such a short space of time and covering so much useful material. Make sure you listen to the very end too, because even though the first portion is very well done and sets everything up for what follows, the last part of this sermon, where practical application is made, is spectacular. Listen for yourself and see -- and may God have mercy on those who hear this message.

However, the verse is actually Isaiah 63:10, not Isaiah 64:10, which we mention so that this does not confuse anyone who may look up that verse. “ A NATION IN REBELLION !! ” It is good that you, Pastor Dilday, are not bashful about pointing out that God is presently judging America. Often through providence, God punishes national sins by national calamities. America’s biggest problem is that she has made God Himself her enemy. She insist on ignoring His Sovereignty, takes great delight in spurning His law, and exalts her own way over His will. In so doing, she has separated herself from the very source of all blessing. She is following in the path of the people of Israel of which this was written in Isaiah 64:10: “But they rebelled, and vexed His Holy Spirit: therefore He was turned to be their enemy, and He fought against them.”
