Great Sermon! What a alarming sermon. I believe that what the church needs now more then ever is self confronting challenging preaching to test our selfs to see if we are in the faith. Away with all the feel good sermons being preached today. There is no sense in making people feel secure when they are not. They that proclaim the word of God are not to make men and women feel comfortable but to challenge them to see if Jesus Christ is there Lord and Savior. AMEN for pastor Thomas Smith. I intend to listen to the rest of the series and I recommend it to others as well.

Great Sermons! Thanks for adding these!
I will never forget when I heard these sermons for the first time. I was living in New York City and was attending the church where Al Martin pastors, in N.J. A friend, from Brooklyn, handed me the sermon series as a set after he had heard them on Family Radio. At the time, 1985, I was fragile spiritually, lacking assurance of salvation. But I did not regret the bold preaching. In fact I have listened to the eight tapes over and over since then. Seldom have I heard such passion in delivering the burden of a pastor's heart as Pastor Tom does in this sermons. They would have to be on my list of all time favorite messages.
