“ Passion in Preaching ” There is a missing note of passion in preaching in our day. In this sermon, starting at the 36 minutes and 5 second marker, is an example of earnest expostulation, such pathos - it has often brought tears to my eyes as I have heard it. I am going from memory, but if I am correct - and this was some 20 years ago that I heard it, Pastor Tom said in a later message that of a congregation of over 400 persons who heard these messages, 60 asked for counsel as a result of this series.
