John Shearouse graduated in 1995 with the Master of Divinity degree from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, South Carolina. As a former elder in the church pastored by Dr Jay Adams, John has received valuable training in the field of Christian counselling according to Biblical principles (`nouthetic').

On May 4, 1997, John was ordained a minister of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (A.R.P.C.), a denomination that seeks to uphold the historic Presbyterian beliefs as expressed in the Westminster Confession and other literature handed down from our forefathers.
John and Mary, reside in nearby Timberlea, Nova Scotia. They have six children: Elizabeth (Isaac), Emily (George), Janet, James (Hannah), Nathan, and Noah. They also have ten grandchildren. | more | less
