Pastor Mike Mutchler and wife Vicky came to Oregon in the summer of 1984 to start Grand View Baptist Church. They started that Fall with 75 people, and met in rented facilities until they purchased 12 acres on Hwy 213 and Leland Road. The congregation built the first building themselves, and then every few years added another.
