Attention broadcasters!You can now upload sermons to SermonAudio without having to do a thing! 100% hands-free! Here's how it works, we automatically extract the new sermon details from any existing podcast feeds -- for example, the sermon title, subtitle, speaker, date, summary information, Bible reference, and the MP3 itself.
Perfect as a one-time process of loading a backlog of sermons or automatically loading new content on a daily basis. This feature makes the batch addition of content much easier for ministries that already have a sermons elsewhere but would enjoy the extra exposure found on SermonAudio!
Here are the tag mappings for podcast feeds:
Title -> Sermon Title (just the title, no date, Scripture references, etc)
Speaker -> Speaker (must match an existing speaker name)
Date -> Date Preached (optional)
EventType -> Event Type Category (optional)
BibleText -> Bible Reference (optional, but highly recommended)
Subtitle -> Subtitle (optional, 30-character limit)
Keywords -> Sermon Keywords (optional, single words)
Summary -> Sermon Overview (optional, avoid HTML tags)
If you omit the date or event type information, the system will default to today's date and to the 'Sunday Service' event type.
Tags important note. The tags found in your podcast feed must be set properly in order for our system to correctly map the fields. It is imperative that the speaker name be an exact match of an *existing* speaker entry on SermonAudio already.
