Attention All Members! In an effort to help promote sermons that YOU wish to promote, we have enhanced the recommended picks feature on the site so that now both FULL and PLUS members can pick sermons (from anywhere on SermonAudio) for public recommendation.
New! Sermons added to your "recommended pick list" are shown in a separate section on your member homepage and is automatically podcast-enabled so that when you add new picks to your list, it can automatically be downloaded via the podcast feed! For FULL (broadcasting) members, your current podcast feed will also include any new recommended PICKS. And all PLUS members are now essentially also podcasters—the podcast feed being their own sermon PICK list.
Your "recommended picks list" appears in the following places:
- The Picks section of (PLUS or FULL) member homepages | podcast-enabled.
- On all sermon pages (applicable for FULL members).
- On the Your Sermon Picks section of the site—showing all recommended picks from all members!
- On your own website using some easy HTML!
Usage: We've made it easy to add and remove sermons from your "recommended picks." On any sermon detail page, simply click on the Add (or Remove) link next to the small "thumbs-up" icon to add that sermon to your list (see screenshot above). And remember how easy it was to display your homepage's featured sermon on your own website? You can also display these recommended picks on your own website too. Here's how:
- Copy and paste the following HTML code into your own website:
- Optionally replace the MEMBERID string with the Member ID of a specific FULL or PLUS Member on SermonAudio (otherwise it will show the recommended picks across all members).
- Optionally replace the STYLE parameter with either 1 or 2 or 3 depending on which display style you prefer!
- That's it!
Now your own website will automatically show your recommended picks list from your SermonAudio homepage! We encourage you to use this feature to help promote those sermons that you feel others would enjoy! We welcome your comments and suggestions! Enjoy!
